ABOUT FLAGSTAFF ESTATE
Flagstaff Estate is owned and operated by Tasmanian locals who love to share their beautiful home with all who wish to explore Hobart and beyond. The property is situated in the bush surrounds of Flagstaff Valley in Lindisfarne, once home to a thriving pear orchard and the original Flagstaff Tennis Club, circa 1957.
Nowadays the property has been transformed into a Hobart retreat, boasting six bedrooms with room for 19 guests, indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, and an impressive chefs kitchen which opens onto an undercover deck. Perfect for entertaining your friends and family for a BBQ all year round! Flagstaff Estate is the ideal location to relax and spend some quality time with loved ones. Venture out and explore all that southern Tasmania has to offer, or stay at the Estate and truly retreat! THE SPACE
As a guest of Flagstaff Estate you will have exclusive access to the entire house located on the upper level, comprising of 6 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen and dining areas, 3 bathrooms, and exclusive use of the 10m heated indoor pool and hot tub. There is also a private covered outdoor entertainment area with BBQ for your exclusive use.
The sprawling grounds include a tennis court (racquets and balls provided), and just next door are the Meehan Ranges with access to bushwalking and world-class mountain biking tracks. Enjoy the afternoon sun on the front verandah while sipping a local Tassie wine; watching the birds or chatting with friends. During the cooler months, underground floor heating is enabled throughout the property and guests can enjoy a cosy night in with a reverse-cycle heat pump, hotel quality linen, woodfire and Netflix.
Please Note: Underneath the house is a separate apartment residence, occupied by the Estate's caretaker. Both residences have their own private entrances and are completely separate; not interconnected in any way. All guests of the Estate have shared access to the grounds including the tennis court and paddocks. There is a separate fenced area that contains sheds and other equipment at the rear of the property that is not to be accessed by guests and is private property.
